"He can't be a pirate. Everyone is going to be a pirate this year."
Oh what to do.
Since the new Pirates of the Carribean movie came out I have dreaded this month. I know it's going to be a never ending parade of wanna be pirates from the moment the first carload of kids from outside our neighborhood shows up on the 31st. Rather than have the one true Pirate King be lost in the shuffle I sat down a few weeks ago and thought about what Jack should go as for Halloween.
After some thinking I finally came up with an idea. I made some notes and after a bit of thinking came up with the game plan. I sketched out the list of stuff I would need and started hunting for the goods last week. (Phone calls, internet shopping, etc.) This week the results started rolling into the house.
What did I come up with?
There's a new Sheriff in town.
I'm pretty pleased with the results. Jack's loves the gear and has been quick to bring the long arm of the law to the no good rustlers known as the cats. I've got to try to get a good picture of him where you can see the massive belt buckle I found in his size. All in all he's pretty happy and it's fun to hear him try to say "Reach for the sky!"
If you're wondering if he's wearing boots then here's your answer:
Snakeskin.
What's the point of being a little buckeroo if you don't have some style.

Very styling! Must get that from his mom? Just teasing! Where's the pic of the giant spider this year? (note - I'm using my 'new' moniker)
